An easy way to help your children get enough
Milk and Alternatives provide a host of essential nutrients that help keep children healthy, alert and ready to learn. Yet, 1/3 of children aren’t getting their daily recommended servings. According to Canada’s Food Guide, children aged 2-8 need two servings of Milk and Alternatives, while those aged 9-13 need three to four servings. The Elementary School Milk Program (ESMP) is an easy way to add a serving of milk to your child’s day. By making milk available at school, the ESMP provides children with a healthy choice that helps build strong bodies and minds.
