About Feta

Feta is undoubtedly one of the most famous cheeses of Greek origin. It has complex, tangy flavour with sweet undertones, and creamy texture. Storing Feta in brine gives it the zest that makes it great as is, but it also tastes and performs beautifully in baked dishes.

Keeping Cheese

Store Canadian Feta in the brine it was sold in, or in lightly salted water. Most Canadian Feta cheeses are packaged and bear a “best before” date, so check that date and keep your cheese refrigerated.

Freezing is not recommended for this type of cheese.
