It is always recommended to bring cheeses to room temperature by taking them out of the refrigerator 45 minutes to an hour in advance (but not more). You don’t want your cheeses to get runny. If you prepare a plate or a cheese board beforehand, make sure to cover it with a plastic wrap or a moist tea towel to prevent the cheeses from drying out or absorbing other aromas.
