Swiss Fondue Bake

Preparation

What You Need

1 Slice white bread
1/2 cup (125 ml) shredded Canadian Swiss cheese
1 egg, well beaten
1/2 cup (125 ml) milk
1 tbsp (15 ml) chopped green onion
3 slices cooked bacon, crumbled
1/4 tsp (1 ml) salt

Instructions

Place bread in bottom of small baking dish. Sprinkle with cheese.

Combine egg, milk, onion, bacon and salt. Pour over cheese. Cover and chill 30 minutes or overnight.

Bake in 350 °F (180 °C) oven 20 to 25 minutes or until set and puffy.
