Party Cheese Ball

Preparation

What You Need

12 slices bacon, very finely chopped
3 cups (750 ml) shredded Canadian Cheddar cheese
1 pkg (125 g) Canadian Cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup (125 ml) chopped nuts
1/4 cup (50 ml) chopped parsley

Instructions

Cook bacon until crisp; drain well reserving 2 tbsp (30 mL) drippings. Beat together Canadian Cheddar and Canadian Cream cheese. Add reserved bacon drippings. Stir in cooked bacon bits.

Shape into a ball; roll in chopped nuts and parsley. Wrap and chill several hours or overnight to blend flavours. Let stand at room temperature 1 hour before serving.
