Parmesan Pizza Sticks

What You Need

1 1/2 cup (375 ml) grated Canadian Parmesan cheese
2 tsp (10 ml) Italian seasonings
1/2 tsp (2 ml) garlic powder
Salt
Pepper
9 inch (22.5 cm) 2 pre-cooked pizza crusts
1/2 cup (125 ml) melted butter
Pizza sauce

Instructions

Preheat oven to 450 °F (230 °C).

In bowl, mix Canadian Parmesan cheese, Italian seasonings and garlic powder. Season to taste with salt and pepper. Sprinkle mixture over bottom of baking dish.

Cut both pizza crusts into 5 x 1-inch (12.5 x 2.5 cm) sticks. Soak sticks in melted butter and coat generously with parmesan mixture.

Place sticks in buttered baking sheet and bake for 10 minutes. Remove from oven and arrange on canapé platter. Pour pizza sauce into small bowl and place at the centre of platter as a dip.

    I suggest to use a lot less of the seasonings in the recipe. When we tried it we had plenty of extra seasoning and we started with about 1/2 a cup of parmesan and it was quite enough! Very good!
