Honey Carrots and Peas

Preparation

What You Need

2 lb (1 Kg) carrot sticks
1 lb (500 g) fresh or
thawed green peas
4 tbsp (60 ml) honey
4 tbsp (60 ml) butter
2 tbsp (30 ml) lemon
Dried basil
Salt
Pepper

Instructions

Peel carrots and cook until tender-crisp. Drain and stir in green peas, honey, butter, lemon juice. Heat over low heat for 5 minutes while stirring.

Season to taste with basil, salt and pepper and serve immediately.
