In 13 x 9-inch (33 x 23 cm) ungreased rectangular cake pan stir together flour, brown sugar, cinnamon, baking soda and salt. Add apple sauce, milk, melted butter and lemon juice all at once. Beat with a fork until well combined. Stir in raisins. Spread batter evenly in pan.
Bake in preheated 350 °F (180 °C) oven 45 to 50 min or until wooden pick inserted in centre comes out clean. Cool.
Dust with icing sugar and cut into squares.
