Crispy Almond Coconut Cookies

Preheat oven to 350 °F (180 °C).
In bowl, cream butter, brown sugar, granulated sugar, egg and vanilla with electric mixer. Set aside. In separate bowl, mix flour, oats, baking powder and salt. Gradually beat dry ingredients into butter mixture. Add almonds and coconut, mixing well with a fork.
Drop batter from teaspoon on buttered cookie sheet, about 2 inch (5 cm) apart. Bake for 10 minutes, until golden brown. Let cool a few minutes before serving.
