Pork Chops with Cream Sauce

Preparation

What You Need

2 1/2 oz (75 g) 4 boneless pork chops
2 tbsp (30 ml) butter
Salt
Freshly ground pepper
1 tbsp (15 ml) shallots, chopped
1 clove garlic, chopped
1/2 to 3/4 cup (125 mL to 175 mL) chicken broth
1/4 cup (50 ml) cream 35 %
2 tbsp (30 ml) apple jelly
1/2 cup (125 ml) raspberries
Fresh chives, to garnish

Instructions

Melt butter in frying pan and fry pork chops until they are tender. Season with salt and pepper. Place in a dish and keep hot.

Use the same frying pan to lightly brown shallot and garlic. Deglaze with chicken broth and reduce slightly. Blend in cream and apple jelly. Add raspberries and cook for 2 to 3 minutes.

To serve, pour sauce over pork chops and garnish with fresh chives.
