Preparation

What You Need

8 oz (225 g) broad pasta (fettucine, papardelle, etc.)
1 cup (250 ml) sour cream
3/4 cup (180 ml) milk
1/2 cup (125 ml) grated Canadian Parmesan cheese
1 tbsp (15 ml) snipped chives
1 tsp (5 ml) salt
1/4 tsp (1 ml) pepper
1 clove garlic, crushed
2 tbsp (30 ml) butter

Instructions

Cook pasta according to package directions.

Meanwhile, blend sour cream, milk, 1/4 cup (60 mL) Parmesan cheese, chives, salt, pepper and garlic together. Drain pasta and return to saucepan. Add butter, then sour cream mixture. Fold together quickly.

Serve with remaining Parmesan cheese sprinkled on top.
