Classic Butterscotch Sauce

Preparation

What You Need

1/3 cup (75 ml) butter
1 cup (250 ml) packed brown sugar
2/3 cup (150 ml) whipping cream 35 %
2 tbsp (30 ml) corn syrup

Instructions

In medium saucepan, melt butter. Stir in sugar, whipping cream and corn syrup.

Bring mixture to a boil over low heat, stirring constantly. Serve warm or cool over ice cream.
