1. The “Oh my Goodness Makeover” contest is held by Dairy Farmers of Canada (the “contest organizers”). It will run on the Internet from September 9, 2010 at 12 p.m. (ET) to October 20, 2010 at 11:59 p.m. (ET) (the “contest period”).
2. The Contest is open to any person residing in Canada (except Quebec) who has reached the age of majority in his/her province or territory of residence. Employees, agents and representatives of the contest organizers, their members, any company, corporation, trust or other legal entity controlled by or affiliated to them, their advertising and promotional agencies, suppliers of prizes, materials or services related to this Contest or any person or entity directly related thereto, as well as members of their immediate family (brothers, sisters, children, father, mother), legal or common-law spouse and any individuals with whom such employees, agents and representatives are domiciled, are not eligible to participate in the Contest, as well as members of the juries. In order to enter the Contest, the settings on your computer must allow "Cookies" from our website.

Grand prize draw
3. To enter the contest and become eligible for the grand prize draw, you must be a member of Dairy Goodness and create a menu with two favourite Goodness Makeover recipes. Proceed as follows:
3.1 Go to www.dairygoodness.ca and click on “Enter now” to access the entry page and then click on “Register”. If you are not a member of Dairy Goodness, you will be directed to the page to register. Enter your first name, last name, email, postal code (first three digits), a user name and password, confirm password and click on “Register”. On the next page, click on “Create a menu”. If you are already a member, log in with your user name and password and then click on “Login”. On the next page, click on “Create a menu”;
3.2 To create a menu, you need to select two Goodness Makeover recipes among those shown in the Recipes Section of the website. To create your menu, proceed as follows:
3.3 Enter your phone number, declare that you have reached the age of majority and declare that you have read and agree to the Contest Rules. Click on “Submit” and you will obtain your grand prize entry.
Weekly prize draw
4. First weekly prize entry. To obtain a first entry in the weekly prize draw, invite two friends to enter the Contest. After you have completed your registration in the grand prize draw as per Section 3, you will receive a Congratulations message. Enter two friends email, click on “Share” and you will obtain your first weekly prize entry. If you do not want, click on “No thanks”.
5. Second weekly prize entry. To obtain a second weekly prize entry, invite two more friends to enter the Contest. After you receive a “Double your chances” message, enter two more friends email, click on “Share” and you will obtain your second weekly prize entry. If you do not want, click on “No thanks”.
6. Limits. Entrants must comply with the following limits; failure to do so may result in disqualification:
6.1 Use of only one email address and one IP address per person during the contest period;
6.2 One grand prize entry and two weekly prize entries per person during the Contest period.
Grand prize
7. There is one grand prize to win. The grand prize is a $ 10,000.00 HBC gift card The following conditions apply to the gift card:
7.1 The gift card balance can be redeemed for merchandise at any The Bay, Zellers or Home Outfitters store in Canada;
7.2 The gift card can not be exchanged for cash;
7.3 No change will be given for any unused balance;
7.4 The value on the gift card will not be replaced if lost, stolen or used without permission;
7.5 The gift card may not be used for payment towards a Hudson's Bay Company Credit Card.
Weekly prizes
8. There is one weekly prize to win, for a total of six weekly prizes during the contest period. The weekly prizes are:
8.1 Vitamix Professionnal Series 500 Blender. Approximate value is $ 600.00;
8.2 Wüsthof Ikon Blackwood 7-Piece Knife Block Set. Approximate value is $ 700.00;
8.3 All-Clad d5 Brushed Stainless Steel Nonstick 7-Piece Cookware Set. Approximate value is $ 700.00;
8.4 Saeco Coffee Maker (Odea Giro). Approximate value is $ 900.00;
8.5 Margaritaville Frozen Concoction Maker. Approximate value is $ 550.00;
8.6 KitchenAid Stand Mixer. Approximate value is $ 450.00.
9. The model of weekly prizes may vary and colour is at the sole discretion of the contest organizers.
10. Limit of prizes. There is a limit of one prize per person and per household during the contest period.
Grand prize
11. At 9:00 p.m. on October 28, 2010, at the office of the agency in charge of the conduct of the contest located in St-Lambert (QC), a random draw of one eligible entry will be held among all entries registered in the grand prize draw during the contest period to award the grand prize.
Weekly prizes
12. At 9:00 a.m. on each Thursday from September 17, 2010, to October 22, 2010, a random draw of one eligible entry will be held among all first and second weekly prize entries registered since the beginning of the contest and up to midnight on the day preceding the draw, except for the last draw for which it will be up to midnight on October 20, 2010. Weekly prizes will be awarded in the order they are listed at section 8.
13. Odds of winning. The odds of winning a prize in this contest are:
13.1 Grand prize: odds depend on the number of eligible grand prize entries registered during the contest period;
13.2 Weekly prize: odds depend on the number of eligible first and second weekly prize entries registered since the beginning of the contest and up to midnight on the day preceding the draw, except for the last draw for which it will be up to midnight on October 20, 2010.
14. To be declared a winner, all selected entrants for a prize must:
14.1 Be reached by phone or e-mail, at the sole discretion of the contest organizers, within fifteen (15) days of the draw. If a selected entrant is reached by email, he/she must reply in accordance with the instructions given in the email, as the case may be;
14.2 Have correctly answered the mathematical skill-testing question on the Declaration and Release Form (the “Declaration Form”) that the Contest Organizers will provide him/her by mail, fax or email;
14.3 Fill out and sign the Declaration Form to the effect that he/she has fulfilled all the requirements of these Contest Rules, and return it to the Contest Organizers for them to receive it within fifteen (15) days of its receipt;
14.4 Upon request and in a timely manner, provide an identification card with photograph;
15. Upon failure to comply with any one of the above-mentioned conditions in these contest rules, failure to accept the prize or return of an email prize notification as undeliverable, any contestant selected for a prize will be disqualified. In such case, the contest organizers, at their sole discretion, may cancel the prize or award it to an alternate entrant by proceeding in accordance with the procedure described in these contest rules.
16. Within two (2) to four (4) weeks following receipt of the Declaration Form, the contest organizers will send their prize to the winners.
17. Verification. Registration forms and release forms are subject to verification by the contest organizers. Any registration form or release form that is, as applicable, incomplete, illegible, mutilated, fraudulent, registered late, contains an invalid email, or is otherwise noncompliant may be rejected, in which case it will not, as applicable, entitle the contestant to an entry or a prize.
18. Disqualification. The contest organizers reserve the right to disqualify any person or cancel one or more entries of a person if they enter or attempt to enter in this contest by means that are contrary to these rules or unfair to other entrants (e.g. entries beyond the allowed limit). This person may be reported to the appropriate legal authorities.
19. Operation of the contest. Any attempt to deliberately sabotage the contest website and/or any other sites related to it or to disrupt the legitimate operation of the contest represents a violation of civil and criminal laws. If such an attempt is made, the contest organizers reserve the right to reject the entry forms of the entrant or votes of a person and seek damages as permitted by law.
20. Acceptance of prizes. Prizes must be accepted as described herein and may not be transferred, in whole or in part, to another person nor can they be substituted for another prize or exchanged for cash, except as provided in the section below.
21. Substitution of prize. In the event where it would be impossible, difficult and/or more costly for the contest organizers to award a prize (or a portion thereof) as described in these contest rules, they reserve the right to award a prize (or portion thereof) of the same kind and of equivalent value or, at their sole discretion, the cash value of a prize (or portion thereof) as indicated in the contest rules.
22. Limit of responsibility: use of the prize. By entering this contest, entrants selected for a prize absolve the contest organizers, any corporations, companies, trust or other legal entities controlled by or connected to them, their advertising and promotions agencies, and their employees, agents, and representatives (the “Released Parties”) of all liability for any damage they may suffer in accepting or using their prizes.
23. Liability limit: prize supplier. Any entrant selected for a prize acknowledges that upon awarding of the prize, the obligations related to it become the responsibility of the providers of services and goods related to the prize.
24. Prize warranty. Any entrant selected for a prize acknowledges the only warranty applicable to the prize is the standard manufacturer warranty.
25. Operation of the website. The contest organizers do not guarantee in any way that the contest website will be accessible or functional without interruption throughout the contest period or that it will be free of any errors.
26. Limit of responsibility: operation of the contest. The Released Parties are not liable for any faulty computer components, software or communications lines related to the loss or nonexistence of network communications, or to any faulty, incomplete, incomprehensible transmissions, or submissions erased by any computer or network that could restrict or prevent an individual from entering the contest or voting. The above-mentioned individuals are also not liable for any damage or loss incurred, directly or indirectly, in whole or in part, from downloading any Internet page, or software, or by the transmission of any information related to participating in this contest.
27. Modification to the contest. The contest organizers reserve the right, at their sole discretion, to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend this contest, in whole or in part, if an event or any human intervention alters or influences the administration, security, impartiality or operation of the contest as specified herein.
28. Termination of entry to the contest. In the event that the computer system is not able to accept any more contest entries or votes during the contest period for any reason, or if the contest entry or vote needs to be terminated before the intended contest end date as stipulated in the contest rules, the awarding of the prize may be done according to the terms to be determined by the contest organizers, at their sole discretion.
29. Prize limit. The contest organizers are not bound to award more prizes or to award prizes other than those in compliance with these rules and regulations.
30. Limit of responsibility: entering the contest. Persons who enter or attempt to enter in this contest release the Released Parties from any liability for damage these said persons may incur as a result of their entry or attempt to enter the contest.
31. Authorization. By entering this contest, all entrants selected for a prize authorize the contest organizers and their representatives to use, if required, their name, photograph, likeness, statement in connection with their prizes, place of residence, and/or voice for advertising, promotional or public relations purposes, without compensation of any kind. This authorization includes all other authorization and consent given by entrants in accordance with these rules and regulations.
32. Communication with the entrants. No communication or correspondence will be exchanged with the entrants in this contest other than in accordance with these contest rules or at the initiative of the contest organizers. No communications unrelated to this contest, of a commercial or other nature, non-related to the contest, will be sent to the entrants, unless other consent was given.
33. Personal Information: Personal information collected on the entrants for the purpose of the contest will only be used for the administration of the contest, which is subject to all other prior authorized use by the winner.
34. Ownership. Release forms are the property of the contest organizers and will not be returned to the entrants under any circumstances.
35. Identity of the entrant. For the purposes of these rules, the entrant is the person who is member of Dairy Goodness. It is to this person that the prize will be awarded if selected and declared a winner. In the case that there is an objection to the identity of the entrant who submitted their entry, the authorized holder of the email account used to submit the entry will be considered as the entrant. The “authorized holder of the email account” is the physical person whose email address was provided by the access or service provider, or any other person or organization responsible for the attribution of email address for the account associated with the address submitted. The winner may be called upon to provide proof to the contest organizer that they are the authorized holder of the account.
36. Decision of the contest organizers. All decisions of the contest organizers, their representatives or the jury, concerning this contest are final and without appeal.
37. Severability of these sections. If a section in these contest rules is declared or judged illegal, unenforceable, or void by a court of law, then that section will be void. However, all other sections not affected will be applied as permitted by the law.
