Bocconcini

When we think of Bocconcini we think of the flavourful Italian entree where these little balls of fresh cheese – similar to mozzarella – are accompanied by ripe tomatoes and flavoured with fresh basil and good, lightly piquant olive oil. What a delight!

Highly practical, Bocconcini can be prepared in a great many ways and transforms easily into a quick meal. Serve them as entrees. With their light, delicate and creamy flavour, they are excellent in salads and mix well with raw, cooked or grilled vegetables or fruit.

Or better yet, why not try eating them nice and slow, as they are, plain with a pinch of Fleur de sel? It’s one of life's simple pleasures!
