Saskatchewan
Located in the heart of the country, Saskatchewan currently boasts one of the strongest economic and demographic growths in the country.
With a unique landscape blending earth and sky, the most sunshine of any Canadian province and a distinctive regional culture composed of Native, French and Scottish traditions, it’s no wonder the province is finally getting some well-deserved attention.
Even though there are currently no Canadian cheese makers established in the province, Saskatchewan residents are no slouches when it comes to eating cheese, with a 7 kg yearly per capita consumption. They are particularly fond of classics such as Cheddar and fresh cheeses, as well as Mozzarella, Feta, Havarti and Swiss.
