Cream cheese is a fresh cheese, which has the shortest shelf life of all cheese categories.
Cook bacon until crisp; drain well reserving 2 tbsp (30 mL) drippings. Beat together Canadian Cheddar and Canadian Cream cheese. Add reserved bacon drippings. Stir in cooked bacon bits.
Shape into a ball; roll in chopped nuts and parsley. Wrap and chill several hours or overnight to blend flavours. Let stand at room temperature 1 hour before serving.
