lean ground beef
1 cup
(250 ml)
fine dry bread-crumbs
2/3 cup
(150 ml)
beef broth
1
egg
1/2 cup
(125 ml)
finely chopped onion
1/2 tsp
(2 ml)
garlic salt
7 1/2 oz
(213 ml)
1 can
pizza sauce
2 cups
(500 ml)
shredded
Canadian Mozzarella* cheese
Pizza toppings:
sliced mushrooms, green peppers, olives, etc.
2 tbsp
(30 ml)
grated
Canadian Parmesan cheese
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350 °F (180 °C).
In large bowl, combine beef, bread-crumbs, broth, egg, onion and garlic salt; mix well. Press evenly into bottom of 12-inch (30 cm) pizza pan; form 1/2 inch (1 cm) rim around edge of pan.
Spread pizza sauce over meat. Sprinkle Canadian Mozzarella cheese and pizza toppings over sauce. Sprinkle with Canadian Parmesan cheese.
Bake 20 minutes or until meat is cooked. Cut into wedges and serve.
Tips
* Or you can use shredded Canadian Brick, Colby, Havarti or Provolone cheese.
