Italian-style burger

Ingredients

6 Prime Rib Beef Sliders
6 Slider Buns

Toppings:
3 slices Canadian Mozzarella, cut in half
1/3 cup (80 mL) Tomato bruschetta mixture
1 tbsp (15 mL) chopped Fresh basil
Freshly ground pepper, to taste

Mozzarella is found most often on pizzas, but it's versatile enough to use in desserts.

Try this crepe recipe that uses Mozzarella and Ricotta.

Preparation

Preheat grill to medium heat.

Cook frozen patties on grill for about 5 to 6 minutes per side until done, or if you are using a food thermometer, cook until internal temperature of burgers reaches 160°F (72°C).

Heat buns, add a patty to each bun and garnish with a half slice of Mozzarella, bruschetta mixture and basil, and pepper to taste. Let melt, then serve.
