Italian Grilled Cheese

Preparation

What You Need

4 panini breads
6 1/2 oz (200 g) Canadian Mozzarella, sliced
1/4 cup (60 ml) grated Canadian Parmesan
1/4 cup (60 ml) pesto
2 grilled peppers (homemade or purchased), sliced

Instructions

Slice paninis in halves.

Spread pesto onto each half.

Evenly distribute both cheeses and peppers on four bottom halves, then cover with four top halves.

Heat skillet over medium-low heat.

Cook sandwiches approximately 5 minutes on each side while applying pressure to flatten.

Panini sandwiches are ready when bread is browned and cheese is melted.
