Add-Ins:
Sliced potatoes
Rice
Noodles
Pasta
Soup:
Cream of
mushroom, plain or with garlic
Cream of
broccoli
or
chicken & broccoli
Cream of
asparagus
or
mushroom with onion
Canadian Cheese:
Shredded
Gouda or Oka
Shredded
Cheddar or Monterey Jack
Shredded
Mozzarella or Havarti
Meat & Vegetables:
Cut-up
ham, cooked, sliced mushrooms, cooked, mixed vegetables
Cut-up, cooked
chicken, cooked, chopped brocoli and roasted red pepper
Cooked ground beef
or
cut-up
roast beef, cooked, cut green beans, cooked, diced seeded tomato
Instructions
Cook add-ins to yield 2 cups (500 mL). Keep warm.
Meanwhile, heat 1 can of soup, 1/2 soup can (125 mL) of milk, 1 tbsp (15 mL) soy sauce, 2 handfuls of cheese and 4 cups (1 L) cooked meat and vegetables in large saucepan until hot and cheese is melted; stir often.
Stir add-ins into sauce. Top each serving with more cheese.
